Learn to Drive
Getting Started
You can get an application form for a Provisional Licence from any Post Office. Return the completed form with two passport size photo’s suitably signed and the correct licence fee (check DVLA for current fees), and as soon as your licence arrives, you are ready to take your first lesson.
On your first lesson you will need to produce your licence (both parts) and you will also demonstrate that you can read a normal vehicle number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres. It’s a good idea to wear a pair of comfortable shoes; high heels may not be suitable. Within an hour you WILL be driving and from then on we will be driving towards a test.
What You’ll Learn
I will cover the DSA’s recommended syllabus. This covers a range of topics, from basic seat and driving positions, to the more complicated manoeuvres that you may be asked to demonstrate on your Driving Test. I use a step-by-step method that I will tailor to the individual, whether young or old. Over the last 16 years I pride myself on being able to push a student along as quickly as I can, but I’m experienced enough to know when to back off and let the learner have more time to grasp the more difficult areas.
The more I get this right, then the better it is for my reputation and my business. This is why I guarantee 100% commitment to provide the most professional job that I can.
